KEW PUPPY TRAINING

Puppy training in Kew

Bone Ball Bark is a positive and force free puppy training company servicing Kew and West London. Having spent years training both people and dogs in the USA and UK, including a large amount of professional assistance dogs, you are in good hands!

When you get yourself a puppy you undoubtedly have lots of ideas of things you’d like to do with them in the local area.

The beauty of Kew and West London in general is that there are so many lovely green spaces that you can enjoy with your four legged friend, and so puppy training in Kew is both a fun experience and also one that will set you up for years of contented dog ownership and amazing memories.

Long summer picnic days on Kew Green or the North Sheen Rec Ground for example are entirely achievable aspirations. You just have to ensure that your dog is comfortable through socialisation and positively reinforced training.

After a decade of training dogs in both the United States and the U.K. I have worked with over 1,000 dogs and puppies so have seen it all and have experience with almost every breed of dog you can imagine.

Although training can happen at any age, it is ideal and important for development of good habits to start during puppyhood. This is why I work with and train puppies in Kew with the most consistent results.

My own dog, Griffin, is a well adjusted and confident dog who has his training constantly reinforced and reassured, all in a force-free, positive way. The results of this method are clear and evident. This is possible for your dog too, so if you have a new puppy or a four-legged addition to the family of any age, get in touch and we can plan a session to establish goals and develop a customised training strategy that meets both the needs of yourself and your dog.

Puppy training in Kew is something that is very rewarding. Once you see your puppy grow into a confident, self-assured dog you will enjoy the local parks and walk time even more than you already do.

Overall, Kew is a fantastic location for puppy training with a variety of outdoor areas to explore and practice training techniques. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work on basic skills or want to challenge your pup with more advanced exercises, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Puppy training venues in Kew

Puppy training starts off in your home, building behaviours and cues in a familiar and less distracting environment before starting to work on them in the outside world. Here are some outdoor locations for puppy training in Kew and the surrounding areas both for sessions and also to practice what you learn in your own time:

1. Richmond Park - Richmond Park is one of the largest parks in London and offers a range of different terrains and environments for your pup to explore. From grassy fields to wooded areas, there are plenty of opportunities to work on training exercises and socialisation in a safe and controlled environment.

2. The Thames Path - The Thames Path is a scenic walking trail that follows the river Thames through Kew and other areas of London. It's an excellent spot for practicing leash training, recall, and basic cues while enjoying the beautiful views of the river.

4. Old Deer Park - Old Deer Park is a large open space with plenty of grassy areas and wooded sections. It's a great spot for practicing basic skills and recall, and there are plenty of other dogs around for socialisation opportunities.

5. Kew Green - Kew Green is a lovely public space with plenty of greenery and open areas for your pup to explore. It's an excellent spot for practicing leash training and basic skills, and there are plenty of other dogs around for socialisation opportunities.

All are easily reached by me so the benefits of Bone Ball Bark training are available locally to Kew and all of the West London area.

When training your puppy outdoors, outside of training sessions, it's essential to keep in mind their safety and comfort. Make sure to bring plenty of water, poop bags, and treats for rewards and to reinforce training. Additionally, always be aware of their surroundings, especially if there are other dogs or distractions nearby.

In conclusion, Kew, London offers a wide range of outdoor locations for puppy training, providing ample opportunities for socialisation, exercise, and bonding with your furry friend.
